in a box is quilted fabric
made from old sheets
held by my 50 year old sister
in front of our 40 year old home
where there is a room
on the second floor
that once had a big bed
and on that bed sheets would rest
holding children (and their parents)
when they needed to know
that love and laughter do continue on
